One of the categories (Look and Community) gave some mention to Firefox's open-source community of users and developers who continue to advance the development of Firefox. But more attention should be given to the wins in all 5 categories for the sheer fact that Firefox is open source software, and that certainly didn't hold it back in the eyes of CNET's judges. Isn't it great to see things like Firefox and Linux win the reviewers over even though they were the result of a lot of volunteer work from the public? Open source design really is the way of the future.
