Different guts:
If the hardware is what you'd like to change, I'd be happy to assemble any CPU/Motherboard combo you'd like with all the fixin's. A great place to look for such combos is on Tigerdirect.com.

Different price:
Need something inexpensive? One option is to find a used PC and send it to me to be upgraded for a fraction of the cost of building a new one. If the hardware is in good shape, but the current operating system needs to be replaced, I can assist you remotely with installing and configuration, so you won't have to ship anything!

Perhaps. There are many Windows-based applications and games that can now run on Ubuntu, thanks to the help of a program used in Linux called WINE. A list of applications that work on WINE can be found here: http://appdb.winehq.org/.

If you have a Windows program that will work with WINE and you can provide that software during build time, I will install it on your system for you for free!
